I made a house
Saturday, December 29th, 2007
We got a new printer / scanner / copier for Christmas, so I got into minis again.. I saved a ‘dollhouse for a dollhouse‘ from Jim’s Printables, but I didn’t like its colours, so I wanted to customise it to my liking, before printing it out. I changed the colours and replaced the windows with pale blue. I actually meant to cut out the windows and replace them with clear plastic sheets for more realistic windows, but the attic (=my craft space) was so freezing that I decided to make a better version someday later, and just glued the house together as quickly as possible. I managed to make one really wonky wall, with my icicle fingers, and I didn’t make a pocket on the downstairs floor, for the lower folds of the mid-wall (like I did on the upstairs floor). Next time, I’m probably going to glue the prints on some thin card first, because the glue made the thin paper all wonky, although I was using a good quality paper glue stick.
