How It’s Made (Discovery Channel) - Dollhouses

Wednesday, October 24th, 2007

We just happened to be watching Discovery Channel, yesterday, and I was just about to start channel-surfing when they said that they’d be featuring dollhouses (or ‘miniature houses’, as they put it..) on “How It’s Made“! Daniel hit the record button, and we only missed the first few seconds, but the rest of it is on the video I uploaded to YouTube. Click here to watch it.

(Rant: I can’t stand things that don’t work! I’ve posted plenty of videos over the years, from YouTube and from other sources, incl. my own sites, but that feckin’ video would NOT work here, no matter what I did.. I even tampered the code to be otherwise identical with an earlier YouTube video I’ve posted in this blog, except changing the actual video URL - since the default YouTube tag would NOT work at all.. But no.. It wasn’t happening.. And it’s not because the upload is too fresh, I did check the status before attempting to post, and it was active. So, I’m not too happy with YouTube, at the moment.. It might have just started working, had I left the broken version up - it’s happened before as that site works and doesn’t work in random ways, but I don’t like broken things in my blogs.)
