CUSTOMISING A NATIVITY SCENE 2003

Daniel's mam had this Nativity Scene in the living room, and she asked me to glue the figurines in place as they'd get knocked down very easily. The scene was all just dark wood with the pale figurines, so I thought I might as well add some colour to it (with her blessing, of course). Unfortunately, I didn't think of taking a "before" picture.

I added an interior back wall, made of balsa wood planks, which I painted with acrylic paints before gluing it. The colour looks more realistic in this photo.

I glued some fishtank pebbles to the edge of the floor, but you'll see them better in some of the following pictures.

It was actually quite difficult to fit all the figurines in there, but now they're all permanently glued in place.

There's a donkey on the other side, so I added some yellow landscaping material to this side, to balance the scene.

Close-up, and you can see the pebbles as well.
