8 May, 2004:
I've had a LEGO Clikits screensaver for a while, and Daniel remembered it when he saw some Clikits brochures, a few days ago. So, he brought me one, and there were a few little useful mini material bits in the package, too. Pictures below:

And the next photos show what I got last Thursday, from T Lili (if you're reading this, T Lili - Thank You!!) More details in the captions..

A few different colours of cool "disco glitter" material, some plastic mesh, decorative cocktail sticks, and an envelope full of pictures to be framed!

Paper cups in different colours and sizes - hmmm, lamp shades, fruit bowls.. I like the colours!

Various small bits and pieces - close-ups coming later..

Cute little house - this will be another dollhouse in my dollhouse!

The other side of the house..
©Stella Stenroos 2004
Wow! These seem to be my Beyond the Moat prizes!
©Stella Stenroos 2004
Awww, a cute pig family - more pets for my French chef! He loves pigs, but not as food!
©Stella Stenroos 2004
Tiny table and benches. I haven't decided if this will be a toy for my dollhouse kids, or if I'll make a smaller scale scene using this table. We'll see..

My dolls can finally listen to music! =D
©Stella Stenroos 2004
This is Stunning!!! :O It's hollow, so I'm going to see if I could open it and make tiny furniture for it, but if not, I'll at least try to add curtains, with the help of tweezers.. One of my dolls (probably Fiona) will be a dollhouse enthusiast, and this will be her best house!

The other side..

Punishment tool for Fiona, if Helmut ever comes home too late.. heh..

Loads of little baskets! I think these will go to my little shop.
©Stella Stenroos 2004
Instructions and wire for bead work, and a little heart shaped picture.
©Stella Stenroos 2004
I don't know what this material is called, but it kind of feels like hard felt. Very interesting!
©Stella Stenroos 2004
Photocopied instructions for a little puppet theatre, from some old dollhouse magazine (if I remember right, it was from early eighties)!
©Stella Stenroos 2004
And not only instructions, she sent me the materials for it as well, and the parts were even cut to the right size! If this isn't spoiling me, nothing is =)

Another picture of the materials..

Pussywillow - I could try and make a little cat, or lots of kittens.. Something like the ones on this site.
©Stella Stenroos 2004
Jewellery parts - very decorative! I could put sweets or flowers in these.
©Stella Stenroos 2004
I have no idea what these are, but they'll make nice coal for a fireplace!
©Stella Stenroos 2004
From a chess table to a prize cabinet, perhaps..
©Stella Stenroos 2004
I'll get some colourful straws from these!
©Stella Stenroos 2004
Foam ball =)

Some pictures in the envelope I mentioned earlier..

Exotic animals for my puppet theatre!

Today, I've been working on revamping my dollhouse. I cleared the upstairs, and am now building proper rooms - there's going to be two apartments, one for Fiona and Helmut (plus babies), and one for Pierre and a mystery girlfriend, whom I haven't actually made yet! I do have a baby for her, though.

30 April, 2004:
I've been busy trying to reorganise "my office", making some more work space and keeping all materials at hand, if possible. This task reminds me of a game I had as a child - it was a little red board with sliding square parts that had numbers on them.. one part was missing, so you could move the numbers around the board, but to organise them, you had to make lots of moves to finally get there.. That's exactly the same with our spare room! It's full of boxes, each full of things that are either useful, or in other ways valuable. However, I've managed to make SOME more room, but it's still not finished..
Although I haven't really made any other minis than the DIY project for my next SNY article (Finnish club magazine), I've still been following the mini groups everyday. To mention one sad thing, it looks like Beyond the Moat - the only ezboard I know that was all about miniatures - has died. It never had many regular users, but I loved it anyway as it was possible to post photos IN messages, unlike in Yahoo groups. But then some regulars started having trouble accessing the board, or other computer trouble, and now it looks like the whole board has been abandoned, which I think is a great shame..
Anyway, to post some photos, here's something I got from my mam, actually nearly a month ago, I just haven't uploaded these photos until now:

Porcelain cake stand and a lamp for dollhouse.
©Stella Stenroos 2004
Even the boxes make great material, I could use these parts for jewellery display or something..
©Stella Stenroos 2004
These will be the family treasures in my dollhouse..
©Stella Stenroos 2004
Close-up of the lamp..
©Stella Stenroos 2004
The boxes are PERFECT for two little fishtanks!! I told my mam on the phone, that I really like the cake stand and the lamp, but the boxes were the best as they're just what I've been looking for, for ages. She found it funny.
©Stella Stenroos 2004
I think she said someone had brought these for her, but she thought I'd like them for material, so she sent them on to me. Very nice!
