2 October, 2003:
I put the food swap items in my dollhouse, and took some pictures today:
Tsk tsk, chef and his friend are smoking in the kitchen..
I wish I lived in my dollhouse! LOL
Clearly getting ready for a party..
Chef's gonna eat bikkies in bed later on..
Little girl's having ice cream, and there's more goodies for later, on the next chair.
Nice spread in the kitchen!
Scroll down for individual pictures of the food swap items - I've also added captions
today, so you can see who made what. |
1 October, 2003:
I got my Finnish swap items today!! They are gorgeous, and they made me so hungry!! LOL
I had to skip breakfast, though, because I wanted to put these pictures online and post
all about them before wasting time on something like REAL food.. LOL So, here goes:
Everything still individually wrapped...
And the whole lot unwrapped!
General pic..

I'm SO happy I took part in this swap!! I sort of have 'too many' foods already
(if possible), and can't really display it all, but having seen what everyone made
for this swap, I'd really have kicked myself had I skipped it!
**Finnish part:** KIITOS kaikille swappaajille!!

29 September, 2003:
I've been working on my pale pink roombox - click here
to read more about it. I also got a parcel from my mam today! She sent sand and shells
from Kaunissaari (summer place in Finland), and this lovely miniature bottle of Poison,
which she thinks will make a nice floor vase for a dollhouse:
Her mini eye is improving, maybe she'll get a dollhouse someday.. (I'm working on it)
AND there were also Finnish chocolates, sweets, biscuits, rye bread, etc.. *yum* But
wait, there's more: mam had knitted us five pairs of socks with really nice colours,
and we got some shirts as well! OK, this is not so mini, but I had to boast.. LOL |
24 September, 2003:
I wanted to get some storage space in my dollhouse, so I made a big wardrobe
of balsa wood. Here are some pictures of making it:
Painted interior..
Watch the glue dry.. LOL
Open doors..
Top & bottom added..
Painted exterior..
Open doors again..
Painted handles..
Close-up of the handles..
Finished item in its place in my dollhouse. This room is a temporary one, I haven't
painted the floor or anything as I'm going to revamp the whole house anyway, when I
add lights and stuff..
Same picture with flash..
