9mm bullet box - like a tiny wine case! (Btw, I'm totally against guns, but I got these empty boxes from a certain army base years ago)

Travel (and other) adverts are a great photo source for your dolls. Cut out pictures of famous landmarks *etc*, and make photo albums of your dolls' trips abroad.. You can also find little pictures with people in them - use these as "family photos" and such!

Look what my dolls did last summer! LOL (See the match stick on top of the photos, for scale..)

These (I-think-) pewter boots used to have lighters in them! They are too big for actual 1:12 scale boots, but they'll be great for decoration.

ROLL-ON DEODORANT BOTTLES:

If you use roll-on deodorants, don't throw those bottles away when they're empty - you might find all kinds of useful mini material from them! Here are some samples from my "deodorant material" collection:

This lid could become a flower pot, for example. Smokey glass pot without any extra effort, or paint it to look like a ceramic pot or anything you like.

Or, it could be a lamp shade...

Or maybe even a groovy TV or a monitor!

I've heard that some people have made lamp shades of deodorant balls, but why not paint them as well, to look like inflatable beach balls, for example!

Maybe your dolls would like a Really Futuristic toilet seat?

FRESH BREATH AND MORE:

These thin ice strips come in a really handy plastic container.. The stickers are easy to remove.

You could make A4 holders for a little office (glue a few of them on top of each other to make a tower of them, just like you often see in real offices), or even a little scanner if you decide to keep the lid..

Here's my paper tray, in the dollhouse!

STUFF FOUND IN THE SHED, etc..

We were going through some stuff in our garden shed, and I found all kinds of nice little things I can use for minis:

A little statue of Mary. She might end up in my upcoming chapel, or I might put her in some garden scene..

Doorbell parts - these will be PERFECT for dollhouse ceiling lamps, they just need chains and some other stuff..

Little cups and things.. Flower pots!! And the big yoke will probably become a garden feature..
©Stella Stenroos 2003
Bits of lino from ~40 years ago, etc.. I haven't decided what to do with these, but I'm sure I can think of something! LOL

These are amaretti biscuit wrappers, which are perfect for a little florist shop scene, or something like that.. Our neighbours were in Italy, and brought us the bikkies. Yum!

Example.. "straight from the florist"! A little card/envelope could be added as well.. There's just some cardboard inside as this item was not made to be opened.
